Student Entrepreneurship Program (SEP)
This is a unique program in partnership with the Mishawaka Education Foundation, Mishawaka School City, the Mishawaka Business Association, and Inspire Mishawaka.
The program helps small business owners meet personnel needs, helps students meet graduation requirements, and creates community connections that add value to the entire community.
Are you a business interested in hosting a student?
Leadership will help you plan a project for students to complete that benefit your business and help students learn about running a successful business and operating within your specific industry. Complete this form to initiate the process.
Are you a student interested in working with a local small business?
If you are a student in the Mishawaka School City district and are interested in gaining work experience that meets your graduation requirements, this is the program for you. We can match you with a small business that you have interest in and you can earn a stipend for your work. Do you have to be a member of the Mishawaka Business Association?
The short answer is no. While we encourage local small businesses to join the MBA, it is not required to participate in the program. This program is intended to support our businesses AND students.
